Everything went exactly as planned, which allowed me to really relax and enjoy myself. It was so nice not to have to worry about the flow of events, as Lisa and all of the rest of the Hornblower staff did a great job of taking care of that. The DJ and the bartender also deserve praise for helping to keep the party going. Looking back, I wouldn't change a single thing. I would definitely recommend a Hornblower wedding to anyone looking for a fun and unique wedding that both you and your guests will never forget.

Our daughter, Kathy, was married July 1st on the Renown, and I want to thank you for a perfect event. With all of us coming from out of state, I truly didn't know what to expect. The food was superb and the references that you gave us for the cake, the flowers, and the limo service were easy to work with, in spite of the fact that we did it all long distance. Kathy and Al wanted the event to be informal and non-traditional, and everyone was very receptive to that. "Greetings Kristie,

I can't believe that time has passed by so quickly.  Most often people only take the time to write letters of complaint.  I want to take the time to write a letter complimenting you and the Hornblower staff.

The timeline in which I had to work to put together our daughter's wedding was very, very short. I was also very anxious about making all of the arrangements via the phone and by looking at pictures and not having the opportunity to see things first hand.

Once we stepped foot on that magnificent yacht, any concerns I had up to that point simply vanished. The Captain was wonderful. The wedding ceremony was excellent. Captain Roy just made it so romantic and memorable. My daughter and son-in-law said the entire event was more than they had ever hoped for. The guests were talking for weeks about the entire wedding. (Then there were those of us who couldn't stop talking about Captain Roy). Renee and Drew were awesome. I really don't know how they handled everything from drinks to dinner and everything in between. The dinner was absolutely delicious and the cake (tiramisu) was to die for. The entire evening just flowed and when the DJ announced the last dance as we pulled into dock, everyone looked at their watches. We couldn't believe our evening on the yacht had come to an end.

Kristie, I can't thank you enough for all of your assistance and being so helpful and kind through all of my annoying phone calls filled with questions. I would never hesitate to host another event through Hornblower or recommend your services to our family and friends.

Because of you, Captain Roy, Renee and Drew we had the most remarkable evening—a memory that will stay with us for a long time to come. Actually, I have one daughter left so you may see us again in the future.

We just wanted to send you a quick email and thank you for a perfect wedding. Your coordination made many difficult decisions very easy. You were quick to respond to all questions and very flexible at the last minute when I made changes. Also, I wanted to give a special thanks to the people who worked on the day of our wedding.

Amy had the whole party dancing and was a pleasure to do business with. Ron and his staff were very professional and efficient while servicing. Raul was an incredible photographer, he was wonderfully organized, got the standard photos, was patient with our families as they tried to take pictures, and was unobtrusive when taking the candid shots. The Captain was wonderful and charming during the ceremony and the chef went out of his way to accommodate the kids with food allergies!

And the vendors you suggested were fabulous. Katherine at Cherries flowers made the most beautiful bouquets I have ever seen, and the flowers on the cake were incredible. Virginia cakes made a beautiful cake that was incredibly moist. Please let me know if you or your vendors need any recommendations and I will be happy to provide."

"I wanted to thank you for all your help with our wedding. We were very happy with the event and wanted to give you all some feedback so that others can have as good of a time (or even better).

The woman who shot our wedding did a great job and has a very strong eye. She should get a raise...I'm not kidding. She's a very strong asset to your company. Good people skills and the ability to make people comfortable in front of the camera as well as strong composition skills. We're thrilled!

The wedding cake was fantastic. We're still getting comments from people about how good the cake was. So often the wedding cake is dry or flavorless—not ours.

I was told by others that the food was good as well. I don't know as I was really too wound up to eat much at all, but the comments we received were good.

The flowers were lovely. Very simple and classic and they lasted for quite some time post-event.

The Captain looked like he had been cast for a movie—you couldn't have picked a more captain looking captain if you tried. And he was quite kind and smiling which helped with the last minute jitters.

The cruise itself was beautiful. The route was well chosen and provided outstanding views of all parts of the bay and the surrounding land. At night it was gorgeous and the boat very stable. Also the boat itself was clean and obviously well-maintained. The staff was very professional (especially our server and coordinator).

We were extremely happy with our choice to get married aboard one of your boats and would recommend it to others. Our guests enjoyed themselves, it gave them all something to do besides just sit in some reception hall or restaurant, and was a great way to show our out-of-town guests how lovely San Diego is. Thank you again for all your help!"
